• Checkpoint and Patrol Data: such as checkpoint name, checkpoint code, QR/NFC scan result, patrol history, scan time, radius, report notes, and incident reports.
• Camera and Media Data: photos or images submitted for attendance, patrol evidence, incident reports, or profile verification.
• Device and Technical Data: such as device information, app activity logs, network status, error logs, and security tokens used to authenticate app access.
• Notification Data: information used to send alerts, reminders, task updates, incident notifications, or system messages.

2. How We Use the Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To authenticate users and allow secure login to the application.
• To manage security personnel, clients, checkpoints, zones, and patrol tasks.
• To record attendance, checkpoint scans, patrol history, and live tracking activity.
• To generate reports for administrators, clients, and authorized users.

3. App Permissions

Guard Life may request access to certain device permissions, including:

• Location Permission: used to record patrol locations, checkpoint attendance, live tracking, and location-based reports.
• Camera Permission: used to scan QR codes, capture attendance photos, upload patrol evidence, or submit incident reports.
• Storage or Media Permission: used to upload or access images/files selected by the user, depending on the device version.
• Notification Permission: used to send task reminders, patrol updates, alerts, and important system messages.
• Internet Permission: used to connect the application to our server and synchronize data.

Users may disable certain permissions from their device settings. However, disabling required permissions may limit some app features.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell users' personal data. We may share information only in the following situations:

• With Authorized Organization Administrators: such as company admins, client admins, supervisors, or authorized users who need access to operational reports.

After receiving a valid deletion request, we will review and process the request in accordance with applicable laws, contractual obligations, and operational requirements. Some data may need to be retained for legal, audit, security, or business record purposes.

8. Location Data

Guard Life may collect location data when users perform patrol tasks, checkpoint scans, attendance actions, or live tracking activities. Location data is used only for security operations, reporting, monitoring, and verification purposes.

If background location tracking is enabled by the organization, the app may collect location data even when the app is running in the background, only for operational features such as live tracking or patrol monitoring.

9. Camera and Photo Data

The application may use the device camera to scan QR codes, capture attendance photos, submit patrol proof, or upload incident documentation. Photos are used only for operational verification and reporting.

10. Children�s Privacy

Guard Life is intended for business and organizational use. The application is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Third-Party Services

The application may use third-party services such as hosting providers, cloud storage, analytics, maps, notification services, or other technical services required to operate the app. These third-party services may process limited information according to their own privacy policies.
